METABOLISM TYPE TEST

Diet plans, there’s just so many different options out there. And they vary in so many different ways. The amount you can eat, measured in calories or points, what you should eat, when you should eat, starvation days, binge days. So many different diets to choose from and so many options.

Nevertheless, despite the variations, lots of diets do actually work. They just don’t always work for the same people. Why is it that some diets work great for some people while others have poor results on the exact same diet?.

The simple answer is, because we’re all different! Some people are better when they eat certain foods, while others do better with a completely different approach. Sure, we all gain weight when we eat junk food and we all do better with healthy foods, but within that framework we’re still all individuals. Some of us will run better on some food groups while others with different options.

So, how do we find out which food groups are best for us?

One way would be to try them all out one at a time and in various combinations to see which healthy foods taste the best and also make us feel good.

Now the term metabolism type is somewhat ambiguous and has been used to refer to many different aspects of a person, but here we’re meaning your nutritional metabolism type.

The 3 basic metabolism types are protein, carbohydrate and mixed metabolism type. Obviously there is lots of individual variance within these groups and you will need to tailor your diet to your specific needs but fundamentally all of us fall into one of these 3 categories.
